Ministry Reminder: Town Hall On Housing
The Ministry of Housing and Municipalities is reminding residents and stakeholders of the upcoming public town hall meeting regarding the proposed affordable housing developments at Tommy Fox Road and Channel House.
Minister of Housing and Municipalities Zane DeSilva said, “We encourage residents to attend this important meeting and take part in the conversation about the future of affordable housing in their community. Public feedback is a vital part of the planning process, and these discussions help ensure that our housing solutions reflect the needs and priorities of Bermuda’s residents.”
A Government spokesperson added, “The town hall meeting will be held on Thursday, 11 June, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Open Door Christian Assembly, 22 Tommy Fox Road, St. David’s.
“During the session, Ministry representatives and technical officers will provide information about the proposed Tommy Fox Road and Channel House developments, including project objectives, site plans, development features, anticipated timelines, and next steps. Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposals.
“The Ministry encourages residents of the East End, neighbouring communities, and all interested members of the public to attend and participate in the discussion.
“The Government remains committed to increasing access to quality, affordable housing through transparent engagement and sustainable development initiatives.”
