Tennis: 2026 Deloitte Open Finals Held
Three finals required third-set match tie-breaks to determine the champions at the 2026 Deloitte Open at the Pomander Gate Tennis Club in Bermuda.
In the Men’s Singles ‘B’ championship match, Chase McCrimmon defeated Cyre Trott. McCrimmon won the first set 6-3 after breaking Trott’s serve twice. Trott won the second set 6-1. In the final match tie-break, McCrimmon secured the final two points from an 8-8 tie to win 10-8 and claim the title.
Hasan Khan and Numair Khan won the Men’s Doubles ‘B’ title by defeating Jaire Lawrence-Salaam and Darren Woods. The Khan brothers won the opening set 6-4, and Lawrence-Salaam and Woods won the second set by the same score of 6-4. Tied at 7-7 in the match tie-break, the Khans won three consecutive points to finish the match 10-7.
In the Over-60 category, Kendall Cuffy won the title after defeating Wilfred Gonsalves. Gonsalves won the first set 6-2. Cuffy won the second set 6-4 after breaking Gonsalves’ serve in the tenth game. Cuffy then won the match tie-break 10-7 to secure the victory.
