‘Time Machine’ Currently Leads Annapolis Race

The 2026 Annapolis to Bermuda Ocean Race is underway, with 19 yachts with over 100 crew members competing in the 753-mile race from Annapolis, Maryland, to Bermuda. The fleet set sail at 2:30pm Bermuda time yesterday [June 5] and is continuing its offshore passage toward the island.

According to the online tracker, Time Machine leads the race as of this evening after sailing 224 nautical miles. The boat had a distance to finish [DTF] of 540 nautical miles.

Tenacious is currently second, having sailed 196 nautical miles, with a DTF of 573 nautical miles. Defiance followed in third place after covering 194 nautical miles, with 577 nautical miles remaining.

Gallant was listed in fourth place, having sailed 184 nautical miles, with a DTF of 583 nautical miles. Aurora rounded out the top five, with 186 nautical miles sailed and 584 nautical miles remaining.
