Video: Southampton Parish With Ed Christopher
The third installment of the “9 People, 9 Parishes” series features Ed Christopher highlighting the parish of Southampton.
Mr Christopher, one of Bermuda’s most recognisable voices as Hamilton’s Town Crier, takes viewers through the parish and reflects on the places and memories that make Southampton special to him. The feature also comes as the Christopher family continues to be in the spotlight, with his son, actor Nicholas Christopher, recently earning a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Chess on Broadway.
The video’s description says, “Southampton is known for the iconic Horseshoe Bay and it’s south shore coastlines, but its true character is found in the stories of the people who call it home. From picking loquats along the Railway Trail to searching out the perfect snowball and taking in some of Bermuda’s most breathtaking views, Ed shares the simple traditions and local experiences that have shaped his connection to Southampton. Through his stories, discover a side of the parish that goes beyond the postcards—one rooted in community, culture, and everyday moments.
“Join us for this episode of 9 People, 9 Parishes and experience Southampton through the eyes of someone who knows it best.”
