Warwick Blue Win FrayStar Youth Cricket Festival
Warwick Cricket Club Blue won the inaugural FrayStar Youth Cricket Festival title after defeating Somerset Cricket Club.
A spokesperson said, “Congratulations to Warwick Cricket Club Blue, champions of the inaugural FrayStar Youth Cricket Festival!
“A thrilling contest between Warwick Cricket Club Blue and Somerset Cricket Club that came down to the very last ball. If you weren’t there, you truly missed something special! Congratulations to both finalists for putting on a remarkable display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship.
“We also extend our congratulations to every team that participated in this inaugural festival. Thank you for your commitment, passion, and competitive spirit throughout the weekend. You all played a part in making history and showcasing the bright future of Bermudian cricket.
“To our clubs, coaches, players, umpires, supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and Saltus Grammar School—thank you. Your support, dedication, and belief in our vision made this event a tremendous success.
“Most importantly, thank you for helping us honour the memory of Kenneth Fray Sr. This festival and championship trophy were created in loving memory of a devoted brother, family man, and someone whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations through the game of cricket. We hope this festival will become a lasting tradition that celebrates not only excellence on the field but also the values of respect, discipline, unity, and opportunity.
