Future Pro Ready For Bermuda Cup
Future Pro Football and Education Academy in Coventry, England, are proud to be competing in the Bermuda Triangle Cup at the Flora Duffy Stadium.
Seven teams have been confirmed for the annual youth tournament, which features local and overseas sides and runs from tomorrow [July 20] to July 26.
“A huge ten days lie ahead as Future Pro travels to Bermuda to compete in the prestigious Bermuda Triangle Cup,” Future Pro said.
“This is a proud moment for the Academy, with the last football team from Coventry to head to Bermuda being Coventry City FC following their historic FA Cup triumph in 1987.
“We’re looking forward to competing against top opposition, and creating another memorable chapter in Future Pro’s journey.”
The competing teams are Dandy Town, Future Pro, the Bermuda Under-15 national team, the Bermuda Under-17 national team, São Miguel, Somerset Trojans and BDA Brazilian Football School.
Future Pro have several Bermudian players in their under-23 squad, including Harlem Bean-Fox and Kennahz Fray.
The programme bridges the gap between academy and professional football for talented players aged 16 to 23.
