Jamin Hodgkins’ Season Ended By Injury
Bermudian rugby union player Jamin Hodgkins’s debut season in Australia has been cut short by a groin and hip injury.
The 23-year-old fly-half signed for Manly Marlins in April before the Shute Shield season in Sydney, the premier club competition in New South Wales.
Hodgkins had hoped a strong campaign would boost his chances of making the Canada squad before the 2027 Rugby World Cup, which will be staged in Australia.
He previously represented the Pacific Pride Academy in the British Columbia Men’s Premier League.
A former Bermuda Under-19 international and Warwick Academy student, Hodgkins has also played club rugby in the UK, representing Luctonians First XV in England and Bridgend and Glamorgan Wanderers in Wales.
