Kappa Announce Education Award Winners
Isaiah Fraser, Mikal Dill, A’Naijé Keesee-Ming and Simeon Hayward have earned education awards from the Bermuda Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
A spokesperson said, “The Men of the Bermuda Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. are proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Education Awards. This year the Chapter honored 4 dearly departed members whom have since entered what the Fraternity calls Chapter Invisible.
“These astute Chapter Invisible Kappa men are:
- Nelson Bascome
- Gregory Swan
- Charles Joynes
- Charles Daniels
“The selection process was highly competitive, with every candidate who advanced to the interview stage demonstrating exceptional promise. As a result, selecting this year’s recipients proved to be a challenging task for the committee.
“In recognition of the outstanding caliber of applicants, the Chapter will also mentor four runners-up, bringing the total number of young Bermudian men supported this year to eight. While the four award recipients will each receive a one-time educational grant to assist with their studies, all eight participants will benefit from the Chapter’s mentorship throughout their higher education journey.”
Here are the four successful scholars:
- Isaiah Fraser [Nelson Bascome Award]
- Mikal Dill [Gregory Swan Award]
- A’Naijé Keesee-Ming [Charles Joynes Award]
- Simeon Hayward [ Charles Daniels Award]
