Bermuda U15 Team Draw With Turks & Caicos
The Bermuda Under 15 women’s football team completed a busy day at the Under-15 Girls Goombay Cup by playing to a goalless draw against the Turks and Caicos Islands at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field in Nassau, Bahamas on Saturday.
Bermuda’s starting line-up against the Turks and Caicos Islands featured Kyra Symmons in goal, along with Leyana Williams, Ki’Ana Simmons, Kiara Deane, captain Riley Khan, Mia Daponte, Me’lah Wolffe-Rutherford, Priya Dill, Kierra Broadley-Samuels, Daisy Langley and Leydi Raynor. The team was led by head coach Taznae Fubler, with Sydney Jenkins, Harper Franklin, Marli Robinson, Xha-Tore Sawyers, Cataliah Pitcher-Place, Nadia Medeiros and Phoenix Williams named among the substitutes.
The match followed their commanding 7-0 win over Grenada earlier in the day and was their third outing of the tournament. Bermuda began the competition with a 2-2 draw against the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The team will be back in action today [July 26[, with two more games scheduled.
