Bermuda U15 Team Defeat Grenada 7-0

Bermuda’s Under-15 women’s national football team produced a superb display at the Goombay Cup in the Bahamas today, defeating Grenada 7-0 in their second match of the tournament.

Bermuda’s starting lineup included Sydney Denkins, Phoenix Williams, Ki’ana Simmons, Kiara Deane, captain Riley Khan, Mia Daponte, Me’lah Wolffe-Rutherford, Priya Dill, Nadia Medeiros, Daisy Langley and Harper Franklin. The substitutes were Kyra Simmons, Leyana Williams, Marli Robinson, Xha-Tore Sawyers, Cataliah Pitcher-Place, Kierra Broadley-Samuels and Leydi Raynor, with Taznae Fubler serving as head coach.

The inaugural Goombay Cup features U15 teams from Bermuda, Grenada, Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas.
