Premier David Burt Meets With Roots Foundation
Premier David Burt met with the Roots Foundation to discuss the next phase of the Western Stars Sports Club field redevelopment.
Premier Burt posted the photos below online, stating, “Earlier this week, I met with the executive of the Roots Foundation at the Western Stars Sports Club field to discuss the progress of its redevelopment. It was a productive discussion about the next phase of the project.
“This field may sit just outside my constituency, but it has long been an important part of the wider community. The Government will continue to support efforts to ensure the return of football and cricket to this field.
“Thank you to Devarr Boyles, Charles Brown, Scott Morton, Stephen Lewis, Lloyd Christopher, Gershon Gibbons, and Shawnette Perott for the work in supporting this important community club’s regeneration efforts.”
