Sarah Cross Among Athlete Of Year Finalists
Bermudian rugby player Sarah Cross has been named a finalist for the High Performance Athlete of the Year award by Buckingham Sports Union and the University of Buckingham Students’ Union in the UK.
Cross was shortlisted after a strong year representing Bermuda and competing for the Buckingham Swans in England.
She was part of Bermuda’s rugby programme at the Rugby Americas North [RAN] Sevens, while also continuing to feature for the Buckingham Swans during the university and club season.
The award recognises student-athletes who have competed and represented their sport at a high-performance level over the past year.
Cross is one of three finalists for the award.
