Somerset Trojans Win U23 Summer League

Somerset Trojans finished on top of the Bermuda Football Association’s Under-23 Summer League after making a strong showing throughout the summer season.

Somerset ended the campaign with 21 points from eight matches, recording seven wins and one defeat. The Trojans scored 17 goals and conceded eight, finishing with a goal difference of +9.

The title presentation followed Somerset’s final match of the season on Friday, June 26, when they defeated Dandy Town 3-1. BFA President Mark Wade and Deputy Chairman of the Competitions Committee Jibri Smith were present as Somerset captain Kymani McNeil received the league trophy.

Robin Hood finished second in the standings with 18 points, while PHC Zebras placed third with 16 points. NVCC Rams followed in fourth with 15 points, ahead of FC Bascome, who ended the season fifth with 12 points.

Somerset Eagles finished sixth with seven points, Dandy Town placed seventh with six points, Devonshire Colts ended eighth with five points, and BLVD Blazers finished ninth with three points.

The BFA’s Competitions Committee thanked all participating clubs, players, coaches, match officials, and supporters for their contribution to this year’s competition.
