Video: Armstrong Scores In FC Motown Victory
Bermudian footballer Andrew Armstrong scored one of FC Motown II’s four goals as they defeated the Long Island Rough Riders 4-2 in their final USL League Two regular-season match in Madison, New Jersey.
Long Island opened the scoring through Joshua Gordon in the 21st minute before Giacomo Zizza equalised for Motown five minutes before the interval.
Julien Lacher gave the home side the lead in the second half, with Finlay Oliver later drawing the Rough Riders level.
Armstrong also got his name on the scoresheet, converting a penalty as Motown scored twice during the closing stages to secure the victory.
