Bermudian baseball player Adam Hall stole his 44th base of the season as the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Lake Country DockHounds 3-2 at home in the American Association yesterday [August 29].

Hall was hit by a pitch in the first inning before stealing the 44th stolen base of his season in the fifth.

The stolen base moved Hall into a tie for third on Winnipeg’s all-time single-season list with Adam Heisler, who also stole 44 bases in 2015.

Winnipeg scored all three of their runs in the first inning through Ray-Patrick Didder’s three-run home run.

Lake Country scored twice in the third.

On Friday, Hall drove in two runs as the Goldeyes lost 6-5 to the DockHounds.
