Bermuda Volleyball Officials Complete Training
Bermuda Volleyball Association members are continuing to develop their skills, with Sean Tucker completing national referee training and coaches Mike Smith, Robert Saravia and Stacey Maderios-Cooke earning FIVB Level 1 coaching certification.
A spokesperson said, “While our Men’s and Women’s National Teams were battling it out at the 2026 ECVA Championships, some of our BVA members were putting in the work behind the scenes to take their own skills to the next level!
“Just before the tournament, Sean Tucker completed the ECVA National Referee Training Course, designed to strengthen and raise the standard of officiating across the region.
“And directly after, coaches Mike Smith, Robert Saravia, and Stacey Maderios-Cooke completed the FIVB Level 1 Coaching Course, adding new knowledge and skills to their coaching toolkits.
“From the court to the officials’ table to the coaching bench, Bermuda Volleyball continues to grow. Congratulations Sean, Mike, Robert, and Stacey on this achievement! We’re proud to see our BVA family continuing to learn, develop, and level up.”
