BHS Celebrates Strong I/GCSE Results
Bermuda High School has celebrated strong I/GCSE results, saying they “stand as a testament to the dedication and academic commitment of our Year 11 cohort.”
A spokesperson said, “The latest I/GCSE results stand as a testament to the dedication and academic commitment of our Year 11 cohort. Of particular note this academic year is the exceptional performance of students who achieved exclusively within the ‘Higher Achiever Tier’—defined as grades 6 through 9 for the Pearson examination board and A or A* for Cambridge.
“Notably, eleven students secured these top-tier marks across all nine of their subjects. In addition, the History Department merits special recognition for guiding 15 of 17 students to higher-tier results, a cohort achievement that includes six Level 9 grades. The students below were the top achievers in Year 11, who between them achieved 19 A or A* subject grades.”

Deputy Head of School, Dr Paul Bennett, remarked, “Huge congratulations to our Year 11 students on their I/GCSE results. Martina Harris, Interim Head of School, added, “Congratulations to our Year 11 students on their achievements. Their results reflect their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, as well as the unwavering support and guidance of their teachers throughout their studies.”
A spokesperson added, “These results follow on the heels of impressive IB and A-Level results for the recent graduating class. BHS is proud to announce that 100% of the Class of 2026 will attend their first-choice university.”
