Burgess And Rangta Added To Fight Card
Another fight has been added to the inaugural Devil’s Isle Fight Championship, with Tristan Burgess set to face Ishaan Rangta at North Field, National Sports Centre, on August 29.
Burgess, of Aries Sports Centre, will meet Rangta, of Open Mat Bermuda, in a mixed martial arts bout at 145 pounds.
DIFC 001 now has eight confirmed bouts across mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Muay Thai and grappling and is sanctioned by the Bermuda Combat Sports Commission.
The event will mark the first time cage fighting has been staged on the island, with the bouts taking place inside a hexagon cage.
The card will also feature Bermuda fighters against opponents from the United States, with competitors travelling from Philadelphia and Minnesota for the event.
The event is being promoted by Na’twuan Fisher, who has competed in Muay Thai and kickboxing.
