Erica Hawley Finishes Seventh In Paraguay
Bermudian triathlete Erica Hawley produced a strong showing at the 2026 World Triathlon Cup Asunción in Paraguay, finishing seventh in the elite women’s race today [Aug 9].
Hawley completed the 1.5-kilometre swim, 40km cycle and 10km run in 1hr 57min 31sec, crossing the line 1min 27sec behind the winner.
Danielle Orie of the United States claimed the gold medal in 1:56:04, with Italy’s Angelica Prestia finishing second in 1:56:12 and compatriot Beatrice Mallozzi placing third in 1:56:21.
