Nathan Trott And Cardiff Exit Carabao Cup
Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott and his Cardiff City teammates exited the Carabao Cup after a 2-1 defeat against Norwich City at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday.
Trott played the full match as goals from Mathias Kvistgaarden and Ante Crnac gave Norwich a 2-0 advantage. Yousef Salech pulled a goal back for Cardiff during stoppage time, but the Bluebirds were unable to find an equaliser.
Cardiff made six changes to the starting lineup that featured at the weekend, with Noah Anyadike among those introduced. At 15 years and 98 days old, Anyadike became Cardiff City’s youngest first-team player and the youngest player in League Cup history.
