Sophia Perrin & I’Aura Golding Earn PwC Awards
PwC Bermuda announced Sophia Perrin as the winner of its 2026 Peter Mitchell Scholarship and I’Aura Golding as the recipient of the ABIC Award sponsored by the firm.
A spokesperson said, “PwC Bermuda today announced the winners of its 2026 Peter Mitchell Scholarship and ABIC Award. Sophia Perrin is the winner of this year’s Peter Mitchell Scholarship worth $20,000. Sophia is a BSc Accounting and Finance student at the University of Loughborough in the UK.
“In addition to financial support, the Peter Mitchell Scholarship provides students with mentoring, internship experience and a fulltime associate role after graduation through PwC Bermuda’s Associate training programme.”
Ms. Perrin said, “I am thrilled to be the 2026 Peter Mitchell Scholarship recipient. This opportunity will allow me to explore different areas of accounting, gain valuable insight into life at PwC, and continue building the skills and experience that will support my future career.”
The spokesperson said, “I’Aura Golding is the recipient of the ABIC Award, sponsored by PwC Bermuda. The award is worth $15,000 each year for up to two years annually as an undergraduate awardee. I’Aura is a recent graduate from Bermuda College, where she earned an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration. I’Aura plans to attend the University of Nottingham to pursue a degree in Finance, Accounting & Management.”
Ms. Golding said, “I am excited to be this year’s recipient of the ABIC Award and the internship opportunities as they will provide hands-on learning, allowing me to better understand how concepts are applied in practice. As a future leader, and recipient of this award, I hope to bring fresh perspectives and show that the best solutions come from combining ideas, finding new ways to do things and continuous learning.”
