Flatts Victoria and Bailey’s Bay met in this weekend’s Eastern Counties cricket match at Lord’s in St David’s, with attendees dressing to impress as they enjoyed one of the summer’s popular sporting and social occasions.
Mother Nature proved less cooperative, as rain halted play and the match ultimately ended in a draw, allowing Bailey’s Bay to retain the cup. Bailey’s Bay scored 227/9 from 54 overs before Flatts Victoria reached 74/2 from 23 overs.
