Sakari Famous Wins Bronze At CAC Games
[Updated] Bermuda’s Sakari Famous has won the bronze medal in the women’s high jump at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Famous leaped an impressive 1.89 metres to win bronze, finishing behind gold medal winner Marysabel Senyu of the Dominican Republic, who cleared 1.93 metres, and Cuba’s Dacsy Brison, who secured silver with a height of 1.91 metres.
The medal adds another major international achievement to Famous’s athletics career and Bermuda’s medal tally.
