Ja’Shay Trott Takes Wicket In Argentina Match
Bermudian cricketer Ja’Shay Trott claimed one wicket as Americas NextGen concluded their ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier campaign with an eight-wicket defeat against Argentina in the Cayman Islands.
NextGen, coached by former Bermuda international Terry-Lynn Paynter, won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 81 before being bowled out in 17.2 overs.
Saanvi Sood led the scoring with 23, while Trott was dismissed without scoring.
Argentina reached 82 for two in 18.2 overs to secure the victory.
Trott finished with figures of one wicket for 11 runs from her four overs.
