Age Concern Bermuda is inviting the community to support older adults by volunteering, donating and taking part in its annual Tag Days, running from October 1 to 3, 2026.

A spokesperson said, “Age Concern Bermuda is calling on members of the public in support of older adults across the island during its annual Tag Days, taking place Thursday, October 1 through Saturday, October 3, 2026.

“The Tag Days will begin on the International Day of Older Persons, observed globally on October 1, providing a fitting opportunity to recognize the important contributions older adults make to Bermuda while raising awareness and support for the services they may need throughout the ageing journey.

“Age Concern Bermuda works throughout the year to support older adults and their families through programmes and services including information, advice and referrals, education, advocacy, hardship support and initiatives focused on long-term care. Funds raised during the three-day campaign will help Age Concern Bermuda continue this important work and respond to the evolving needs of older adults within the community.

“The organisation is also issuing a community-wide call for volunteers to help make this year’s Tag Days a success. Volunteers are needed to assist at tagging stations at various locations across the island on October 1, 2 and 3.

“Individuals do not need to be Age Concern Bermuda members to participate. Whether volunteering for a few hours, encouraging friends and family to get involved, or making a donation while passing a tagging station, every contribution of time and support can make a difference.

“Age Concern Bermuda encourages families, businesses, community groups, young people and individuals of all ages to take part and help demonstrate Bermuda’s continued commitment to its older adult community.
