Video: St Lucia Football Team Defeat Bermuda
Ajani Burchall and Riley Robinson scored for Bermuda as the national football team lost 5-2 to St Lucia in the Concacaf Nations League.
The Concacaf match report said, “Saint Lucia delivered a statement 5-2 win against Bermuda in Group B at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. The hosts opened with Keegan Caull bagging a first-half hat trick with strikes in the 15’, 18’, and 35’. Bermuda shortened the deficit through a strike from Ajani Burchall in the 45+1’.
“St. Lucia further extended its advantage in the second half with goals from Shevon Byron in the 53’ and Kurt Frederick in the 68’. The visitors added another in the 70’ through Riley Robinson for the final 5-2 scoreline.”
Bermuda opened their campaign with a 2-1 loss to Guadeloupe, with Enrique Russell scoring from the penalty spot before Guadeloupe struck twice late in the match to secure the win.
