Lauren Cardwell & Toronto Defeat Marauders
Bermudian Lauren Cardwell’s University of Toronto Varsity Blues opened their 2026 Ontario University Athletics [OUA] field hockey regular season with a 2–0 victory over the McMaster Marauders in Hamilton on Friday.
Catalina Meilleur scored both goals for Toronto, opening the scoring five minutes into the match before adding a second in the 42nd minute.
Goalkeeper Mary Yang kept a clean sheet, with veterans Maggie Mullins and Kirsten D’Silva helping lead Toronto’s defensive effort.
