Ming & Berkeley Help Colleges To Victories

Bermudian footballers Sachiel Ming and Shantia Berkeley featured for their respective college teams as Syracuse University and Durham College recorded victories.

Ming started and played 80 minutes as Syracuse defeated Colgate 3–0 at Beyer-Small ’76 Field in Hamilton, New York, on September 15th, registering one shot during the match.

Following a goalless first half, Chimere Omeze opened the scoring just over two minutes after the restart, and Dakota Jonke doubled the lead before Kelvin Da Costa added a third in the final minute.

In Canada, Berkeley came off the bench and played 31 minutes as Durham hammered the Loyalist Lancers 6–0 in their home opener at Vaso’s Field in Oshawa on September 13th.

Durham finished with 33 shots, including 23 on target, while limiting Loyalist to one attempt. The result brought the Lords’ record to one win and one loss.
