Special Olympics To Hold Bocce Tournament
Special Olympics Bermuda will hold a bocce tournament next month to support its bocce team and its participation in the Special Olympics Island Games in Jamaica in November.
The tournament on October 17 will begin at 10am at the TN Tatem Tennis Court.
Teams will consist of four players, with entry costing $40 per team.
The event is being promoted under the message, “Together We Can! Support Change Lives Create Opportunities,” with an emphasis on inclusion, acceptance, unity and respect.
All proceeds will go towards the Special Olympics Island Games in Jamaica.
A lunch will be available for $10, offering a hamburger or hot dog, a drink and chips.
