Team Hayward Extends Thanks After Event
Team Hayward said they “extend their sincere gratitude to the sponsors, vendors, performers, volunteers and members of the public who contributed to the success of its Back-to-School Community Event, held on Sunday, 30 August at CedarBridge Academy.”
A spokesperson said, “The event brought families together for an afternoon of complimentary food, refreshments, music, games and activities in celebration of Bermuda’s young people as they prepared to begin a new school year.
“Minister Jason Hayward said the strong community participation reflected Bermuda’s shared commitment to supporting its children and families.”
“Education plays a critical role in shaping the future of our young people and our country. This event was an opportunity to encourage our students, support their families and remind them that their community believes in their potential,” Minister Hayward said.
“I am deeply grateful to every sponsor, vendor, performer and volunteer who contributed their time, services and resources. I also thank Nadanja Bailey for emceeing the programme and keeping the event lively and engaging. His contribution was greatly appreciated. I thank the families who joined us and brought such wonderful energy to the event. Its success was made possible by everyone working together.”
A spokesperson added, “Team Hayward extends special thanks to She Cutz who organized the haircuts and styling initiative, Danielle Joell of B Curly Hair Studio, Kara’s Kitchen, Hot Dog Delight, Fluffy Stuff Snowballs and WJ Boyle and Sons for their generous support and contributions to the event.
“Appreciation is also extended to the local artists and performers who entertained families throughout the afternoon, including Bermuda Squad, Shawn Herman, DJ Fury, PHC Majorettes and Drum Corps, Places Gombeys, RatedE, Demara Maybury, Inferno Arts Bermuda, Henna by Jasmine Hull, Velina Wheatly-King of Jaguar Tattoo, Giggles Face Paining and Tattoos and Hot Air Luxury Design.
