Trinae Edwards Signs With Barnsley FC
Bermudian footballer Trinae Edwards has signed for Barnsley, joining the club after previous spells with Brighouse Town, Leeds United and FC United of Manchester.
A spokesperson said, “We are delighted to announce the signing of Trinae Edwards. Trinae brings experience to the squad, having previously played for Brighouse Town, Leeds United and FC United of Manchester, as well as representing Bermuda internationally.”
Ms Edwards said, “I’m delighted to be joining Barnsley and show what I can do. The club has been great and I’m pleased to be reunited with my fellow Bermudian international Aaliyah.”
Manager Craige Richardson said, “Our recruitment just keeps going from strength to strength. I’m excited to see what Trinae can do at this level, having already played at Leeds and FC United of Manchester. In the short time she’s been with us, you can see she’s an absolute baller [with an edge].
“She also comes highly recommended by Aaliyah who knows her from her Bermudian international call ups. I believe we’ve secured another very exciting prospect.”
