Two Vehicle Collision In St. George’s
[Updated] A collision involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in St. George’s this morning [Sept 3].
A police spokesperson said, “There has been a road traffic collision involving a motorcar and a motorcycle near the Junction of Mullet Bay Road and Wellington Park Road in St. George’s.
“Details are limited at this time. However, traffic delays are to be expected while this matter is being dealt with.
“Motorists are urged to exercise patience and cooperate with police officers at the scene.”
Update Sept 4, 9.30am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:30am Thursday, 3rd September 2026, a reported collision occurred along Mullet Bay Road, St. George’s, near Wellington Park Road.
“Police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel responded.
“It appears that a motorcyclist travelling in the eastbound lane of Mullet Bay Road was overtaking other vehicles when a collision occurred with a car, driven in the opposite direction.
“The female rider, understood to be an 18-year-old St. George’s woman, sustained injuries to her face, body and legs, with one of her leg lacerations said to be serious.
“Reportedly the first motorcyclist then collided with a second motorcyclist, who was also travelling in the eastbound lane, at the time.
“The second rider, understood to be a 70-year-old St. George’s man, fell to the roadway. His injuries are believed to be less serious.
“Both injured riders were treated at the scene by EMTs, before being transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for further medical care.
“Apparently the car driver, understood to be a 60-year-old St. George’s woman, was unhurt.
“Traffic in the area was disrupted for approximately three hours, while the collision scene was processed.
