13 Businesses Join BEDC Incubator Programme
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] has welcomed 13 local businesses into the 8th cohort of its Enterprise Bermuda Incubator program.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] has welcomed 13 local businesses into the 8th cohort of its Enterprise Bermuda Incubator program. The Incubator supports entrepreneurs who are launching a new venture or growing a business in its early years of operation, helping them move past the idea stage and build businesses that are sustainable and ready to grow.
“Over the course of the program, participants will receive complimentary access to BEDC’s educational courses, free office space for up to one year, dedicated mentorship, and international training opportunities. Each business will also receive tailored guidance from BEDC Business Development Officers, along with access to pro-bono or subsidized professional services such as marketing, accounting, legal support, and web development.”
“Every cohort brings a fresh mix of ideas, and this group reflects the range of talent we have in Bermuda,” said Erica Smith, Executive Director of BEDC. “We are proud to support them and look forward to watching them grow.”
Kelsea Williams, Communication & Development Officer at BEDC and lead for the Enterprise Bermuda Incubator, shared what the new cohort can expect. “Joining the Incubator is a commitment, and every business in this group has made it. Over the coming months, they will have a team in their corner focused on helping them build a strong foundation.”
She continued, “I want each of them to leave with confidence, a network of fellow entrepreneurs they can lean on, and a clear path forward for their business.”
The 2026 Cohort includes:
- Jasmine Zuill of Blended Ltd.: A Bermuda-based food and wellness brand serving smoothie bowls, smoothies and fruit-forward products, while creating employment opportunities for young people and individuals with support needs.
- Genesis Williams of G Anae: A hair brand offering quality extensions in a variety of textures and styles, created to help women feel beautiful and confident.
- Kamel Dickinson of Live2Travel: Live2Travel creates group retreats built around culture, adventure and connection. It sits alongside the fitness brand Cut2Fit under his company, Square 54 Ltd.
- Damika Tucker of Breathing Room: A wellness space that blends modern innovation with ancient practices to help people reduce stress, restore balance and nurture mind, body and soul.
- Kara Doers of The Cheekie Chef: A food service company serving busy families through meal prep, school hot lunches, private catering and community pop-ups.
- Deelight Paul of Petal & Paper Studio: A floral art studio for milestone moments, creating specialty bouquets, flower crowns and a rentable bouquet bar. Its Pink Sand Petals branch makes jewelry from locally grown flowers.
- Johnny Debraga of BermE Supplements & Vitamins: An online performance and wellness supplement retailer expanding into Gym Blocks, a one-stop health destination with private training spaces, personal training and nutrition coaching.
- Jahdayna Samuels of Dreamy Scents: A locally made animal care line using gentle ingredients to combat dandruff, itchiness and dry coats.
- Shantel DeShield of Pocket Change: Pocket Change BDA equips Bermuda’s young people with financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills through programs, camps and workshops.
- Doyle Cyril Butterfield of Bright Bins: An eco-friendly pressure washing and grease trap management service that turns cleaning contracts into paid, hands-on training for Bermudian youth.
- Taj-Rae Outerbridge of TKO Locksmith: A Bermudian-owned mobile locksmith providing residential, commercial and automotive services across the island.
- Christine Lee of De Oil Shop [Two Moons Bermuda LLC]: Two Moons is a Bermudian-owned parent company that houses de Oil Shop BDA, Thirty86 BDA and Ginny B’s, giving each brand a foundation to grow independently.
- Kalmar Richards of Gold Sentiments: A Bermuda-born luxury card brand created to honour connection, memory and gratitude, helping people express what matters most.
The spokesperson said, “Since its launch, the Enterprise Bermuda Incubator has supported entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries. The 8th cohort continues that work and reflects BEDC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Bermuda’s micro, small, and medium-sized business sector.
