And TCD are no longer testing emissions… now from 50,000 vehicles. So much for concerns about air quality.
“And TCD are no longer testing emissions”
Didn’t the PLP Government spend a small fortune on a custom built emissions testing facility some years ago?
But did they EVER test for emissions ?
Did any vehicle ever fail ?
All it was was another F&F money grab.
Typical out of date Government data. 2024 is 22 months ago so what’s the point of it, especially bearing in mind the number of tickets issued for non licensed vehicles?
Sounds like alot until you pull all of the non private vehicles out of the total.
How many are on the roads at any point in time?
Anyone who thinks that there’s less traffic on the road seeing so many people have supposedly left the island may be surprised at this number but anyone living west of the Middle Road / South Shore junction in Southampton can attest to the fact that the traffic is awful and even worse when there’s a ship or two up in Dockyard. MUCH WORSE .
All hours of the day , not just ‘rush hour’ and weekends are no better.
How many vehicles belong to Bermudians
“How many vehicles belong to Bermudians”
All 282 GP vehicles, all 4,741 trucks, all 532 taxies, all 335 tractors and tractor trailers, all 340 buses, minibuses and limousines, all 260 rental minicars, and all fire engines, ambulances, construction and military vehicles.
It should be mandatory for every person coming to Bermuda to have at least One Child before they are able to get a car
