A spokesperson said, ”Offered in partnership with Bermuda College’s APACE Division, this 12-hour online course introduces participants to the fundamental principles, concepts and provisions of the international human rights framework, equipping them with the knowledge to contribute to advancing human rights in Bermuda and beyond.

“Designed for teachers, counsellors, students, community workers and aspiring changemakers, the course requires no prior knowledge of human rights. It is delivered by HuRen human rights expert Veaceslav [Slava] Balan, with contributions from local experts, through four modules combining self-paced learning and live virtual sessions.
