Video: Dakari Love Returns To The Voice UK
Bermudian singer Dakari Love showcased his vocal talents again on The Voice UK, taking to the stage alongside Molly J for a rendition of Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds” during the competition’s Battle Rounds.
The singer, whose real name is Nkosi Hollis, earned his place on Sir Tom Jones’ team following his successful blind audition in September, bringing Bermudian talent to the British television programme.
Love previously performed “No Time To Die” during his audition, prompting Sir Tom to turn his chair and select him for his team. “I had to press my button because I said you deserve to be on this show,” he said following that performance.
The video below shows just his performance, if you’d like to watch the entire show we cannot add it here but you can click here to watch it on YouTube and the link here will start the video at the section that he appears, so it shows him walking out, the judge’s comments and his comments. “Dakari, you did a wonderful job but I won’t be taking you through to the semifinals,” Sir Tom Jones said after his performance.
Following his final appearance on the show, Love shared an upbeat message about the next chapter of his career.
“This may be the end of my journey on The Voice UK, but it’s only the beginning of the journey ahead and I can’t wait to see what’s next!” he wrote on social media.
