White & Olander Win 2026 President’s Cup
Conor White won the 2026 President’s Cup road race on Sunday, finishing more than five minutes ahead of the second place finisher, while Panzy Olander took the women’s title
A spokesperson said, “Conor White delivered an impressive solo performance to win the 2026 President’s Cup on Sunday, 4 October, finishing more than five minutes clear of his nearest challenger in the island-wide road race.
“The racing was lively from the start, with a competitive field that included Alexander Miller, Harrison Jones, Dominique Mayho and Nicholas Pilgrim. White made his decisive move in Crawl, opening a gap before putting in a sustained effort to build his advantage.
“White pushed hard for the first 20 minutes of his breakaway before settling into a pace he could maintain. By Trimingham Hill, the chasing riders were out of sight, and a glimpse of the field as he rode out of Dockyard confirmed his substantial lead.
“White crossed the finish line in 2:15:15, securing victory by five minutes and 37 seconds. Alexander Miller took second in 2:20:52, with Harrison Jones completing the overall podium just five seconds later in 2:20:57. Dominique Mayho finished fourth and Matt Boys fifth.
“Panzy Olander took the women’s title in 2:24:00, ahead of Annabelle Miller, who finished in 2:29:35.
“Dylan Eiselt delivered a standout ride to finish sixth overall in 2:21:59, winning the junior men’s category while competing strongly among the leading senior riders. Jonah MacGuinness finished second in the junior category and eighth overall, recording 2:23:10.
“Congratulations to the category winners and everyone who took on the President’s Cup. A special thank you to Peter Dunne for race direction and timing, race official Charles Thresh and all the volunteers who helped make this race safe and possible.”
