The second annual Christmas Market will take place at Paget Gospel Chapel on Saturday [Nov 7], featuring 18 local artisans and vendors, festive gifts, food, and charity fundraising.
A spokesperson said, “Come join us for our second annual Christmas market this Saturday, November 7th from 10:00am-3:00pm at Paget Gospel Chapel, 44 Middle Road, Paget, co-organized by Deanne DeSilva [Dandesign] and Rebecca Simmons [Whispering Palms]. This exciting market features 18 amazing artisans and vendors, including some first-time vendors and some exclusive vendors, as well as seasoned veterans and market favourites! There is a large variety of beautiful locally made products to choose from to get your Christmas shopping done early!
“Most vendors will be unable to take credit cards, so be sure to bring cash with you so that you can support these small local artists and buy some fabulous unique gifts for your family and friends and yourself!
“In the giving spirit of the season, we have invited local charity, Forget Me Not Canine Center [Reg Charity 1045] to join us with a table at the market to promote the charity as well as fundraising by selling coffee, tea and some gifts and treats for your furry family members. Please take a few minutes to visit them and hear about this new organization that is working to address the issue of the overpopulation and at-risk dogs in our community by providing education, fostering, and responsible rehoming. Pick up a hot drink to enjoy while you’re browsing around and shopping.
