Wells And Luton Reach FA Cup Second Round
Bermudian striker Nahki Wells came off the bench as Luton Town defeated Forest Green Rovers 2-0 at Kenilworth Road to reach the Emirates FA Cup second round on Saturday [November 7].
First-half goals from Emilio Lawrence and Jordan Clark secured victory for the Hatters against their National League opponents.
Clark set up Lawrence for the opening goal before doubling Luton’s advantage after receiving a pass from Dan Gore.
Forest Green created opportunities but were unable to find a breakthrough, with Wells replacing Lawrence in the 85th minute.
The clubs were meeting at the same stage for the second successive season, following Luton’s 4-3 victory in October 2025, when Wells scored twice.
