Dimitrius Gibbons Charged: Attack On Cricketer
A 23-year-old St. George’s man was charged in Magistrates Court this morning [July 22] in connection with the alleged machete attack on top cricketer George O’Brien on July 19th of this year. Dimitrius Gibbons was represented by attorney Llewellyn Peniston, and released on bail. He was not required to enter a plea, as the matter must be heard in Supreme Court.

Ok help me to understand . . . didn’t Alvone Maybury escape custody by having his hands handcuffed in front of him and no shackles on????? So why in the hell is another person going to court with his hands handcuffed in front of him and no leg shackles. Outside of the threat of escape do police and prison officers realize that a person could choke them to death by placing their handcuffs around their neck?????
Is Bermuda Police & Prison Departments that far behind or that DUMB????

Prison Officers will now be required to have, carry and display 4pm meals whhilst escorting inmates too and from Fairmont Westgate.
Progress is being made as we speak. The Warden of Fairmont Westgate has engaged the help of chefs that are being scaled back at local hotels. This is all being done to help them out during periods of setbacks on overtime and lost wages.

Oh my god, am I really seeing what I am seeing? Handcuffed at the front AGAIN???? Presumably they didn’t think this one would even try and run away?
