Bermuda Wins Two Medals in Guadeloupe
Bermuda has just picked up two medals in the Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships held this morning (Oct 23) in Guadeloupe.
Top local cyclist and triathlete Flora Duffy dominated the field winning the Gold Medal, and Nicole Mitchell also put on a stellar performance to capture a Bronze, giving Bermuda two places on the podium of the Women’s Time Trial event.
Athletes competing in the event include Flora Duffy, Nicole Mitchell, Mark Hatherley, Adam Harbutt, Darren Glasford, Shannon Lawrence and Geri Mewett. Traveling with the athletes are Greg Hopkins, Arthur Glasford and Peter Dunne. Tomorrows road race will have the full Bermuda team participating.
