Photos: Car Overturns In Harrington Sound
[Updated] At approximately 2:30pm this afternoon [Jan 3] there was an accident on Harrington Sound Road, just west of Trinity Church Road junction. The roof of the car has sustained damage, and a bystander said the car ‘overturned’ at one point during the accident.
Bernews unofficially understands the car occupant[s] may have left the scene. We will update with official Police information as able. For previous posts with photos of unusual accident scenes click here.
Update: Thanks to Sarai Hines, we have added photos of the car actually ‘flipped over’ as it was immediately after the accident, prior to being moved. Also, the Police confirm the driver left the scene, and said his injuries are “unknown.”

i was like 4 cars behind this!! smh, had to turn around and go allllllllll the way back around just to get to bailey’s bay
and your write up said the person fled the scene? i saw a random person standing there with an umbrella up… thats all, because someone further up said “a car just flipped over and you can’t get by” as they turned around in their vehicle

How do you flip a car at 35 kph?
That’s a very good question. I wondered the same thing. There is no way it’s possible to have THIS much damage and to flip a vehicle doing 35 kph unless you are rolling down an embankment.
