Photos: Car Crashed Over Bank in Pembroke

June 19, 2010

This morning [June 19] there is a car completely over a bank on St John’s Road on at the bottom of Berkeley Hill. What is interesting to note is that although the car is backwards all the damage to the car is on the front, which caused bystanders to speculate that the the car must have ‘flipped around’ after impact.

At this point we have no further details on the accident, and whether anyone sustained injuries or not, but will update once we receive official information, which should be later today.

Around 5:30am on Saturday, June 19th Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on St. John’s Road in Pembroke near the junction with Berkeley Road. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear; however it appears that a car was traveling east on St. John’s Road when the driver lost control and collided with a wall.
