  1. Serious though says:

Most of the water trucks i see are always speeding , slow down !

    • Clinton J.A. Paynter OBA Affiliated says:

This water truck was not speeding… I know the driver and he never goes over 35kph!

    • Seriously says:

I have known this water truck driver for 20 years. He does not and has never been speeding. He is a very careful driver. Further more, one of the witnesses of the accident confirmed that both of them were not speeding. The tourist was on the wrong side of the road. It is unfortunate that it happened. My condolences to the family of the deceased. My heart goes out to the driver as well as he will have that image in his mind forever. Please do not judge without hearing the facts first.

Yes, there are water truck drivers that speed and overtake, but this gentleman clearly did not.

  2. Um just sayin says:

Not to say that this was the cause however, most water trucks I see are always speeding – I even see them overtaking as though something is chasing them. Slow down Bermuda. No need to rush. If you are late, you are late, you cannot get early even if you are 1 minute late.

My condolences to Mr. Lancelotta’s family and friends.

  3. mixitup says:

Very Sad, I wish Mr. Lancelotta’s family comfort.

  4. Justice says:

Seriously… people are driving so reckless. We all need to SLOW DOWN. I see 4 lane traffic now. Bikes overtaking the bikes that are already overtaking? Crazy. Where is the police presence? Get the speed cameras up!

My sincere condolences to the family.

    • juan bermudaz says:

So of course blame police for other people’s recklessness.

  5. Concerned road user says:

Condolences to the gentleman’s family. I’m not pointing the finger but I do see some trucks speeding, they really need to slow down. A motorbike is going to come off far worse than a truck if they collide!

    Native American Prayer

I give you this one thought to keep –
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning’s hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone –
I am with you still – in each new dawn.
