Video: Jenaya Wade-Fray’s Buzzer Beater

Bermuda’s Jenaya Wade-Fray hit a long-range three-pointer to beat the buzzer in Great Britain’s recent game against France, which saw them walk away with a 74-67 victory. The talk of the game was how Wade-Fray inspired Great Britain by hitting the three pointer from mid-court.

Wade-Fray say following the game, “I think the shot gave us a lot of momentum going into the last quarter.That shot boosted our confidence a little bit and everybody got a bit excited about it, it’s a great win for us.”

Wade-Fray will be a part of Great Britain women’s basketball team for the 2012 London Olympics, with the game against France part of the team’s warm-up for the Games.
