Cyclists Heading To Elite Championships

The Bermuda Bicycle Association have announced a five person team that has been selected to represent Bermuda at the 2012 Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships in Antigua, October 20th and 21st.

Nicole Mitchell will be joined by Mark Hatherley, Geri Mewett, Dominique Mayho and Darren Glasford. Clifford Roberts, Wenda Roberts and Peter Dunne will work as team support.

The event has been billed as “the biggest cycling event ever in Antigua” by the organizers and will include a Time Trial and Road Race.

The Time Trial is 24 miles for the Men and 12 miles for the Women, while the Road Race is 84 miles and 42 miles, respectively.
