Padraig Harrington captured the 30th PGA Grand Slam of Golf after closing with a 4-under 67 for a one-shot win over U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson at the Port Royal Golf Course today [Oct 24].
The three-time major champion was only asked this weekend to fill in for British Open champion Ernie Els, who injured his ankle. The Irishman pulled away with three straight Birdies early on the back nine and finished the 36-hole event at 9-under 133 earning $600,000.
