Faulkenberry Greets Bronx Second Graders

April 15, 2013

A group of second graders from the Bronx’s PS 69 Journey Prep school attended the Wednesday [Apr. 10] matinee performance of “Spider-Man Turn: Off the Dark” at Broadway’s Foxwoods Theatre and afterwards got to meet and greet friendly neighbourhood Bermudian co-star Rebecca Faulkenberry.

Following the performance, the class enjoyed a meeting Ms Faulkenberry — who plays the title character’s love interest Mary Jane Watson — as well as Jake Epstein, cast in the dual role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Ms Faulkenberry — who attended the Bermuda High School for Girls and made her theatrical debut as a pre-teen in Bermuda Musical & Dramatic Society and Bermuda Gilbert & Sullivan Society productions — appeared in “Rock of Ages” on Broadway before joining the cast of “Spiderman: Turn off the Dark.”
