Businesswomen Make 2013 Business Power List
Seven female business executives from Bermuda have been listed in the IFC Powerwomen Top 100, which is a list of influencers and professionals working around the financial services industry in International Financial Centres.
Angela Burchall, Linda Longworth, Pearline McIntosh, Vanessa Schrum, Diane Stirling, Tracy Tepper and Michelle Wolfe are among those who have been recognised on the list.
Citywealth said, “The list focuses on influencers as well as professionals and celebrates powerful women from diverse backgrounds in government, private wealth, private client advisory and philanthropy across the international financial centres.

- Diane Stirling: HSBC Private Bank Bermuda, Senior Trust Officer
- Tracy Tepper: Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Trust (Bermuda) Ltd, CEO & President
- Michelle Wolfe: Meritus Bermuda, Managing Director
“It recognises women of achievement who are opinion formers, helping to promote business excellence in their home jurisdiction and consolidating the reputations of the financial services industry globally,” noted Citywealth.
The 100 women listed work in the Bahamas, Switzerland, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Malta, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Cyprus and of course Bermuda.

Powerwomen? I’m sure the feminist movement is delighted by this one.
This is so unnecessary in 2013.
Next week, the 100 most influential people in business who like pizza.
Think we need to open up nominations for inspirational women. Some women inspire and have a profound impact on lives that don’t come from a set criteria background.
The majority of these ladies work or have recently worked in the trust business area.
How recent is this list ? For example I know that Tracy Tepper is no longer at Lombard Odier, they have a new President & CEO (another outstanding woman I might add.. ) GIRL POWER !!! Or as Beyonce would say, “Who runs the World ? GIRLS !”
