Football: Dudley Eve Double Header Results

The Bermuda Football Association Dudley Eve double header held on Friday [Sept 13] at Goose Gosling Field saw PHC Zebras take on North Village in the early game then Somerset played Dandy Town in the late fixture.

PHC Zebras 1 North Village Rams 4

After a scoreless first half the two teams produced 5 goals in 45 minutes of action. Jemeiko Jennings gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 49th minute when he beat the advancing PHC Zebras goalkeeper Raymond Glasford.

Bean doubled the North Village Rams lead six minutes later. The PHC Zebras conceded a penalty after a foul in the box in the 82nd minute with Bean converting for his second goal of the game.

PHC pulled a goal back in the 90th minute when Marco Piper finished from close range. However in injury time North Village Rams’ Jason Lee beat Glasford to his right to make the final score 4 – 1.

Somerset Trojans 1 Dandy Town Hornets 6

The Dandy Town Hornets were in front within five minutes when Brandon Minors scored from a close range header past the Somerset Trojans goalkeeper Shaquille Bean,

The score was level midway through the first half when Somerset Trojans midfielder Sean Brangman scored with a powerful shot from a distance.

Seion Darrell restored the Dandy Town Hornets lead minutes later when he beat Bean from inside the box. Damon Ming capitalized on an error from Bean in the 67th minute as the Dandy Town Hornets went ahead 3 – 1.

Fabian Frankson made it 4 – 1 with a header before Skyah Furbert added a goal later in the match to make it 5 – 1. Terrence Webb then scored for the Dandy Town Hornets to make the final score 6 – 1.
